We are based in Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre, Co.Durham and specialise in a wide range of gymnastics classes, including beginner level and development pathways, to competitive Acrobatic and Floor & Vault opportunities, with our gymnasts regularly representing Athena at club, region and national level.

No matter what level you’re looking to start your journey at and no matter where you’d like to end up: age and ability is no issue – we have something for everyone and nobody is left behind!

Our aim is to develop individuals into happy and healthy gymnasts performing to the best of their ability.
Our experienced coaching team are DBS checked, hold appropriate coaching qualifications and are trained in safeguarding and protecting children.
We pride ourselves on providing a fun, affordable, engaging and challenging gymnastics environment, setting appropriate targets for gymnasts, developing individuals and providing the best technical advice.

Plus! Our club is GymMark accredited which means that it is recognised by British Gymnastics and their partners as a safe, effective and child friendly club.
